Mission

Samsun University History Department aims to have its students acquire vast historical knowledge, creative approaches and ability of analysis. By this way, they might restructure historical concepts and events. Our department also intends to cultivate historians, who are open to scientific developments in history and other disciplines, and who can synthesize their knowledge with their abilities. Therefore, our department aims at train qualified historians who can contribute to the universal and national scientific developments with their studies.
